Zinc — antioxidant which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It aids the process of healing wounds and inflammations as well as minimises the risk of getting new skin conditions. When added to cosmetics, Zinc restores natural skin pH and makes the skin more invulnerable to blackheads. It also keeps the organism’s hormone balance — ensures proper functioning of sebaceous glands and emission of sebum. Magnesium — its role for humans is invaluable. It forms a basis for organism defense mechanisms. Magnesium ensures that skin is better moisturised as well as effectively regenerates skin, eliminates irritations and neutralises inflammations. It also protects against free radicals and thus slows down skin ageing processes. Chlorine — is contained in many everyday use products. Its beneficial properties include e.g. regulation of water and electrolyte balance for skin.
Manganese — has antioxidant properties and improves skin elasticity.
Potassium — ensures that skin is moisturised properly.
Sodium — keeps water balance for the skin, moisturises and slows down ageing processes.
Copper — its a valuable antioxidant which reinforces skin and protects it against loosing firmness. Copper also neutralises inflammations, improves functioning of the sebaceous glands and regulates emission of sebum. Copper takes part in synthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAG), which not only keeps the skin firm and elastic but also smoothens wrinkles. Strong and effective promotion of collagen and elastin synthesis supports functioning of the skin.
Trace elements are limited in plant and animals. They act jointly — lack of one of them blocks natural cell reactions.
How do we choose fragrance?
This is our favourite stage of production which we have paid a lot of attention to. We wanted Yope soaps and cleaning agents to be distinctive in all aspects and paid greatest effort to develop the most natural, pleasant and original scent. We have tried hundreds of aroma compositions and selected only a few. Some of them could be just added to cosmetics but other compositions did not match the formula. However, that did not discourage us from working. If the aroma was satisfying, we continued designing soap formula from the scratch. We wanted soaps for the kitchen to have appetising smell and effectively neutralise unpleasant smells from hands, e.g. onion, fish, garlic. Liquid soaps for bathrooms mainly refresh but we also arrived at the conclusion that using them should give pleasure as well. Aroma compositions of cleaning agents were selected in such way that they are not too intense and give impression of ... cleanliness.
